I tend to abstain from the People’s Choice Awards because they always give off such a staged vibe—the only people who actually show up are the ones who know they are getting awards, and then that tends to take away from the best part about awards shows—unscripted surprise. In other words, Kanye West isn’t popping up in anyone’s speeches, and as far as entertainment goes, that’s a shame. Also, the fashion never really blows me away, cuz everyone smart is saving their best stuff for the Globes and Oscars. That being said, there were a few great dressers last night. Remember, all these opinions are totally biased, and just like at the Awards themselves, there’s no real surprises here!

I love Lea Michele and I think she always dresses really well. I also REALLY love her Glee version of Rihanna’s “Take a Bow.” That red strapless mini is by Nuj Novakhett. Work it you hot little Gleek! (more…)
