Here’s why I love nail polish: it’s so easy to try new things and if it looks stupid, you remove it and all you’ve lost is 10 minutes of your life. I was a big fan of ombre fashion last year and thought maybe I’d give it a whirl on my nails. I usually wear Lippmann Collection in Sarah Smile, a pale pink shade that makes the nails look clean and I like bolder colors on my toes. So I branched out and decided to do a gradient style where the pinky is the darkest shade and it progressively gets lighter to the thumb. I did it with blue colors, but you could try this with shades of purple, green, pink or even black-dark gray-gray-pale gray-white.
The colors I used:
Thumb: Creative Nail Design in Turquoise Tint (which is unfortunately no longer available to buy).
Index finger: OPI Sea Ya Later Sailor, $6.79
Middle finger: Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine in Flash, $5.66
Ring finger: Creative Nail Design Hotski To Tchotchke, $1.92
Pinky: OPI Dating a Royal, $6.95

What’s your vote: a look for Wet n Wild tweens or something us adults can try too?
