I had always heard that La Prairie skincare products were amazing, but it wasn’t until I made a little trip to the La Prairie spa at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a facial that I could truly, for myself, say their skincare products are amazing. Plus, the spa is frequented by many celebrities (I’m sworn to secrecy, sorry!), so go even if it is just for the eye candy.
After experiencing the White Caviar Facial (aka: the best facial of my life—my skin literally glowed in the dark) created to mimic the new White Caviar Illuminating Système I had to know more. This new collection consists of 3 luxe products designed to control pigmentation (age spots/discoloration) for a firmer, brighter and younger-looking complexion.

I’m going to be honest, this stuff isn’t cheap, but come on, beauty is pain; and at least your wallet is feeling it and not you, right? Lucky for you, my beauty brain is always ticking and I asked one of La Prairie’s finest if a gal could only afford one product from the White Caviar Illuminating Système which one should it be? She totally understood such a predicament and recommended the White Caviar Illuminating Serum because it is more of an intensive treatment compared to the Illuminating Cream, which is a moisturizer that helps control pigmentation. The Illuminating Eye Serum felt wonderful too and since I’m not too concerned with pigmentation yet, my personal pick would be the eye serum.
The best part, La Prairie has a skincare collection for every skin type and age to target your concerns while moisturizing and nourishing your skin. However, I’m most excited to get my hands on a bottle of the Cellular 3-Minute Peel (my aesthetician raved about it) for superb exfoliation and to help minimize blackheads and pores (no, I’m not perfect) thanks to its professional level of exfoliants. If you’re lucky enough to live in LA, you must treat yourself to the La Prairie spa at the BHH for a facial or skin consultation where one of their fabulous pros can find the best skincare regimen for you!
