Dreamgirls with Dreamy Skin

Between the costumes, the makeup and the voices I couldn’t get enough of the Dreamgirls production playing at the Ahmanson theatre in downtown Los Angeles.  Every moment of the performance I was enthralled and tempted to jump out of my seat and start groovin’ (don’t worry, I didn’t). If I had to choose my favorite scene it would be “Steppin’ to the Bad Side” because of its wonderfully addictive tune and the costumes, choreography and lighting were perfection. It was amazing!
Another highlight of my evening was that I was sitting front and center! I was in the second row and didn’t miss a beat.  Honestly, one of the first things I noticed when the girls entered the stage was they all had GORGEOUS skin.  It wasn’t like, “Of course they have pretty skin, they’re wearing stage makeup,” but more like, “Whoa, their complexions are illuminated.” I have discerning eyes so if there was a flaw I would have found it. I even noticed when Curtis didn’t have his pants zipped in one scene…I’m just sayin’!

I went to the Dreamgirls after-party so I saw their faces close-up again, this time without all the stage makeup. Again, perfection! Stage makeup is so heavy that it can actually take a toll on your skin when using it night after night, so I was very impressed.
So who does the cast have to thank for their flawless complexion?  Ambi Skincare, a trusted line of products formulated specifically to target the skincare concerns of women of color. They offer a complete skincare line, but are known for their fade creams, which work to fade the appearance of dark spots and discoloration to reveal perfect, even skin tone.
See for yourself! Try the products and see the show which is playing until April 4th.
