I just wasn't really into the swept up buns that seemed messy with fly-aways in the lighting on stage. Maybe they looked better on the red carpet or in person, but everyone who did that (Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz, etc.) looked like they put their hair up and then took a nap in their limo on the way there.
