Yesterday I had the pleasure of popping into the Beverly Hills Hotel for some pampering at the La Prairie spa. The famed pink palace on Sunset Blvd has hosted every famous face in the world — literally every time you go there, you see someone. (This time I passed Mrs. Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Meyer, on my way to the spa. And there was definitely a retired ’80s rocker in the downstairs cafe having a drink… On my previous visit, I was at an event with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke and her stars Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lefevre. I digress with name-dropping…) So today was a quick pop-in to check out the spa space. La Prairie spas are always in the chicest locations — such as the Ritz hotels in New York and Grand Cayman. The BHH space overlooks the pool and private cabanas (where you might spot some A-listers canoodling if they’re not in a dark corner of the Polo Lounge). It’s a secluded, serene hideaway in the middle of bustling L.A. and sitting outside for a chair massage and manicure couldn’t have been lovelier (did I mention champagne?). It’s chilly in L.A right now (60s brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr), but the crisp air felt amazing today. I highly recommend a trip to this oasis — La Prairie skincare products are deliciously indulgent, so try a facial or just a simple mani. Request Lena — she’s gorgeous, friendly and good at what she does. (When I picked a pale coral she said no — too orange for my skin.) Oh, and get a glass of bubbles.

Oooh, will put this on my must-visit list for next time I’m in the area – sounds divine!
While this topic can be very difficult for most people, my belief is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do value that you’ve added pertinent and intelligent commentary here though. Very much thanks to you!
